Megat Sharizal hails from KL and started getting involved in theatre after joining a class by Joanna Bessey in MMU. Started joining theatre festivals in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur since 2002.The play ‘Tat Nenas’ won the Festival Theatre Malaysia 2004 and he was awarded Best Director Award.
He was involved in productions by Actor’s Studio, DramaLab, Five Arts and Enfiniti productions like ‘Kardy Boys N Crazy Girls’, ‘Otak Tak Center’, ‘That was the year’ and Malaysia’s musical ‘PGL’ and ‘P.Ramlee’. He also does film art like ‘1957 Hati Malaya’ as Tun Dr Ismail and ‘KL Lights’, ‘Sindarela’ and ‘Suara Hati’.
He is currently pursuing his masters in performing arts in UM.
